Hello, lovely readers!

You know, I laughed when I was in the throws of third-trimester insomnia and people told me, ‘You think you’re tired now. Just wait til the baby gets here!’ Surely it couldn’t be worse than this.

Such arrogance. Such hubris.

Parenthood has definitely shown me a whole new world of sleep deprivation, frustration, and confusion. But the good bits make it all worthwhile.

But you didn’t come here for that, you came for the bookish updates, so let’s go!

Bookish Updates

Queen of Ever has been released into the wild and it’s doing great! We’ve had so many wonderful reviews, which is amazing because we worked incredibly hard to get that book out on time. Lots of people wondering what’s going to happen in book 3 since book 2 seemed to wrap everything up nicely (and it did). I’ll share more about that in the new year!

When You Burn Me has taken a new turn, which is a bit exciting. I had begun writing it before I went on my 12 month hiatus. However, when I came back to it, I found it wasn’t really working for me. It felt forced. So I scrapped all 45,000 words and started over.

Last month, I challenged myself to write 1,000 words every day, and I’m pleased to say I’ve actually managed to accomplish that. Which means I’m making good progress towards having it published in January!

But now, the covers don’t fit what I’m doing. So, I’ve commissioned new ones for the series! They are scheduled in for December so hopefully I’ll have cover reveals coming at you next month!

And with a rewrite and new covers, I thought I might as well go the whole way and update the series title, too. Give it something a little more fitting. So! The series is now the Enchanted Hearts series!

For South Aussie readers, I will be attending the Author Market event at Burton Community Hub on November 23rd! Hopefully logistics all work out (by which I mean babysitters if my baby daddy can’t get off work), otherwise baby Myra may be making a special guest appearance.
